“Da Doo Ron Ron”, and “Then He Kissed Me”, being their most popular hits.
The group has scaled from five to three presently, the others having left for family life or other pursuits. The Crystals now consist of Dolores
(DeeDee) Kenniebrew, an original who was there from the very first record, Melissa Antoinette, and Patricia Prichett-Lewis.

October 2009
Alabama Association of Community Theatre Festival
Saturday, October 24, 2009 – All Day Event
Sunday, October 25, 2009 – All Day Event
The Pell City Center is proud to host AACTFest, which will feature community theatres around the state and the Pell City Players competing for the
chance to perform at the Southeastern Theatre Conference. Here is what you can expect during the Festival:
The curtain goes up and there are up to three 10 by 10 foot squares on an otherwise bare stage. In each square is everything that can be used for
a show - actors, set, props, and costumes. The buzzer sounds and the first show is off and running. The actors in square 1 hustle to set up their
show in 10 minutes - because that’s when they must start. And they must end their piece no later than 60 minutes later. Then they have 10 minutes
to put it all back in their box and leave the stage bare again!
Adjudicators present their opinions, offering insight and constructive ideas - it is always fascinating and stimulates great dialog. Then - buzz! -
show number two is off and running, using every precious second of their 10 minute setup time. And so it goes, until all the entrants have given it
their best. It is truly an inspiring and exciting experience and one that you do not want to miss.

When the lot of sacrifice fell to the king's favorite daughter, a cry went up from the city. As the princess left the city to stand before the dragon's
lair, who should appear but Sir George from England.
